Be Safe, Feel Safe

Be Safe, Feel Safe

Church should be a place where we can fix our minds on God. Yet the evil that exists in our society today may cause us to drift from giving God a captivated mind solely focused on Him in worship. At HCC, we want to create a place where we can worship and fellowship freely and not be caught in a state of distraction concerned for our physical safety. We want to be totally engaged without diversion. Our safety and security are essential to our spiritual well-being. We not only want to “be safe,” we want to “feel safe.”

Acts 20:28 (ESV) – Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood.

Our church is guided by the hand of God to provide a safe but comfortable place of worship.  We know that only God can keep us totally safe, but He also asks us to do our part.  As part of our journey to follow His lead we have formed a medical response team and a safety & security team along with physical security measures. To ensure our path is guided, we are blessed to partner with our local Fire and Police departments along with a nationally recognized church safety solutions organization.

Nehemiah 4:9 (ESV) – And we prayed to our God and set a guard as a protection against them day and night.
