Collegiate ministry

Collegiate ministry

We at Hope Christian Church understand how important someone’s time in college is and how vital these years are in the development of someone’s character. Our goal is to walk alongside college students as they navigate this amazing but also at times difficult and confusing part of life with the goal of sharing the Gospel and walking alongside them in their deepening of their faiths.

The college ministry at HCC has three main parts.

  1. Bi-Weekly gathering
  2. Weekly Bible study
  3. Individual meetings
  4. Worship and Prayer nights

Our main meeting is on Sunday afternoons every other week after the worship service. We call it Night LIFE, which is a grandfathered-in term. We provide lunch and then we have a Bible study based off of the sermon series.

We also have a weekly Bible study on campus where we go through a book of the Bible together with times for fellowship, Bible reading, discussion, and prayer.

Our College Ministry Intern, Wesley, also tries to meet with college students to discuss life and actually walk alongside them on a more personal level.

And finally, something we love to have about every six weeks, is a big worship and prayer night where we come together for a time devoted to praying with one another and praising our Lord!

Our next worship nights are on 9/11, 10/23, and 12/4!

Please contact Wesley Sprague if you have questions.
